Nowadays, Daddy and Mummy have been too busy with their wedding preparation that i am officially deprived of daily walks. The guilt in both of them always get me to fun places during the weekend. Like today, we went to Bedok Reservoir to run run with Daddy. We waited very long for a carpark lot and in vain. As the sun rose higher, the temperature got hotter. So Mummy suggested that Daddy and me go run first while she would join us later.
Dadday did his stretching and started running with me on leash coz there was an event going on. As we ran, the people got lesser and my leash went off. Daddy's hp suddenly rang. Mummy got a parking lot and i heard that she's coming. Hmm... But Mummy can never catch up with us..... hmm Anyway, i just continued running with Daddy for 3.5km. He stopped twice to rest me coz he didn't bring any water (GOSH!). As i blindly followed daddy, he suddenly shouted "Where's Mummy?" Anxiety hit me hard, i went around sniffing and looking. Just then, i saw this very small figure coming from far. And Daddy's tone got more excited! I knew it was Mummy coming! She went the other way.

Can you see me? The black dot is me. And the white stroke is Daddy.

I finally found MuMMy, and here i ran towards her!!

Here's DaDDy, running fast and steady!

As Daddy ran past us, i couldn't help but ran after him again! I love actions!

But i am mega tired. Can you see that i'm heading for shady area? There was a bench there actually. Haha.. i know where to rest!

See? I stopped right at the bench. And coz my folks do not carry water with them, they decided to give me a long good deserved rest.

Mummy is a lazy pig. She walked so slowly!
There i am waiting for her!
After Mummy sat on the bench, i decided that it was very safe to lie down and slack. I was panting allllll the way till i couldn't lie down properly. The hot sun definitely heated me up alot!
See how tired i am? I ran 3.5km NON STOP! Way more than Mummy! (M: pls lo, you stopped TWICE!)
A last shot before we make our way to the end point!
PHEW! But i worked out well today!

Today was my happy weekend! As usual, my folks would bring me to fun places to run or swim. Today's destination was the park at Potong Pasir. Daddy would go joggin with me but strangely Mummy didn't want to join in. So she unleashed me to run after Daddy. As always, i loved terribly to do that. I ran and ran and ran and caught up with Daddy who was 500m away. When i finally reached the same pace with Daddy, i realised Mummy not around! Without hesitation, i turned back and searched for traces of Mummy. NO SIGN even i sniffed sniffed around to wait for her appearance. Gosh!! Where the hell mummy went?? The first brain signal sent was to find her. She might have fell down or something! I must go find my mummy! "Finding Mummy" mission activated!

I used my nose and traced back the trail i walked. (M: I took another shorter route to meet them up at half point but was walking la, they were running ma. Obviously they would be faster. To my surprise, i saw her took off at the opposite direction which Yida was taking and started sprinting! I'm like "Oh shit!" What the hell was she thinking? I shouted her name and she couldn't hear. So i ran and ran till breathless. As i breeze walked, i saw her reaching the starting point where it was so near a busy road. My heart skipped a beat.) Finally, i reached the starting point where Mummy and me started from. Mummy was still no where to be found. So i investigate the pathway which we came from. Still no sign of Mummy. Sigh. I'm getting nervous, where mummy went to???? Just when i got despaired, i turned back and saw Mummy. Yes! She was coming my way!!! I happily trotted towards her where i got a treat from her! Hee! Finally found my Mummy and Daddy came shortly behind her!

When Mummy got me, she said something like "You scare the hell out of me!" How can hell be coming out from Mummy? She must be joking big time! After my 'lost' family reunited, we continued my walk but with leash this time. I was damn shagged out by then. I ran big time today and had a tracking experience! How wonderful!

(M: She really scared the hell out of me, so near the busy road! Luckily, she was smart enough not to go beyond the line! I thought she was clever enough to go onto the path we came from. Won't be surprise if she waited for us at the car. Then again, i would never not jog with them ever. This was not the first time we off leash at the park. The only difference was me being a pig this time. Other time, she jogged with us on heel. I sweared i will never get lazy again. =x)

Mummy found a new method to get me calm when guests come. Yesterday and today got this Cheena cleaning lady coming over. With grandpa and ma, my barking system was in tip top condition. But Mummy managed to break that system down with her continuous diversion method. So whenever she's around, the barking system was 85% down. Everyone was happy with that. Even me too! Coz i got to eat the most treats EVER.

Whenever my barking alert goes off, Mummy will say,"Enough" Then she would bring some evil sinful treats so near my nose that i have to pay attention to it. There, i saw Mummy when i got pulled out of my insanity. I kept quiet and beg as usual, and the treats entered my mouth. Yum Yum. Throught the whole cleaning process, the auntie can move around. In fact, i like her moving around coz i get to EATTTTTT. Yum yum! At last, i could feel less stress with guests in the house. Last time, everyone seemed to be very angry with me. Now, Mummy so happy to see me waiting for her at the pen blocking the kitchen.

M: I am majorly proud of her. Thanks to the book " At the other end of leash"! Although she has to be separately from the guest, but i think the cease of barking was a great improvement. My intention was to make sure she dun react to any guests movement in the house, then i will let her out of confinement to interact with guest. Of coz, if the guests aren't afraid of dogs, i may try to remove the confinement. Actually, all these boil down to how well you understand your dog. When Muf barked at the dog, i learnt to understand her alerting rather than scolding her. What i need to do is to walk to the door to see if anything funny outside, if nothing i will tell her it's fine. And she quiet down immediately. Yida's furious scolding just make her bark more and she felt unappreciated doing her 'job'.
